Built by Frits de Vries Architects + Associates, the cabin welcomes you with a sloped roof that borrows heavily from vernacular design.

A sheltered entrance with greenery all around leads you into an open living area, kitchen and dining space. It feels like every room of the house is visually connected with the outdoors at all times thanks to floor-to-ceiling glass windows and large framed glass doors that envelope the rear section. Unsurprisingly, wood is the defining component of this summer cabin with beautifully placed fireplaces, custom décor and cozy textiles ushering in a sense of warmth all year long.
