Do you ever get inspired by browsing the catalogs and websites of your favorite brands? I definitely do! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite beauty shots from beloved brands that make product styling a work of art. There’s a lot to learn from the talented team that puts together these beautiful tabletop vignettes. They’re modern, they’re unexpected, and they’re eye-catching in every way. Ready for a closer look?…
Anthropologie
There’s a lot of design inspiration to be absorbed from an Anthropologie photo shoot, and this stunning image featuring the brand’s mouth-blown Oros Glassware proves that monochromatic style can make a big impact. Would you ever consider painting fruit to dress up your tabletop? Love the blue lemons in this shot:
Once again, blue takes center stage, this time in an image that showcases the brand’s Linhas dinnerware, which features a hand painted line and dot pattern. This shot reminds us to pay attention to contrasts, such as the color contrast created by orange and blue tones:
CB2
CB2 is never short on beautifully styled product shots. Their images are a testament to the fact that affordable modern design can be a reality. Below we see an assortment of items, including the swirling pattern of the Belay Dinnerware, designed by Seascape Curiosities. Pastels, marble, and classic black and white make an irresistible combination:
Sometimes it’s best to let the platters do the talking. Simplicity is key in this image featuring the SAIC Origin Cuatro Platters, designed by School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) student Allison Rokusek. The wood of the table is the perfect backdrop for showcasing the orange, aqua, grey and black lines of the grid patterns.
CB2’s Intermix Dinnerware is a true favorite, and with the pieces’ gem-like geo forms in colors such as blue-green and melon, they’re the true focal point of the photo below. Yet I still can’t take my eyes off the Hoth Candleholders (used here as planters). Maybe that’s why I’ve bought four of them since Christmas!
ferm LIVING
Modern Scandinavian style and retro design blend in the offerings of ferm LIVING. The brand’s Neu dinnerware has become a fast favorite with its Bauhaus-inspired geometry. Grey stoneware has never been so striking. Beautifully weathered pots make the perfect backdrop to this earthy modern table featuring delicious produce and a cactus in a brass hexagonal pot:
ferm LIVING’s Easter Catalogue is filled with design inspiration, from delicious recipes to stunning vignettes. Below we get a little taste of the imagery, including a pair of small succulents that make a big impact.
Lulu & Georgia
Lulu & Georgia offers a range of items for the home, from rugs and lighting to an array of gifts. The Thunderbird Runner is the highlight of the images below, proving that there’s power in beautifully designed textiles. The table setting is a feast for the eyes, and it’s hard not to admire the abundance of pillows or the vibrant cactus accents.
Finell
Finnel. Where do I start?! Can you tell I’m a fan of this Austin-based designer and manufacturer? It’s hard not to love the fact that each item is as functional as it is stunning. Plus, the product photos emphasize the beauty of modern simplicity. Below we see Join, a series of 3D silicone placemats that can also align to form a table runner.
Speaking of simplicity, take a look at Slide, the perfect blend of solid wood serving board and removable quartz tray. The photo below proves that when your serving pieces are works of art, there’s no need to surround them or load them down with frills. Just fabulous food!
Did you get any tabletop inspiration from today’s post? Here’s wishing you a delicious spring filled with great food and even better company as you entertain this season!
