Located in a beautiful and historic apartment near Sydney Harbor Bridge, this fabulous modern bathroom was designed by the creative folk at Australian design company, Minosa Design. One look at the bathroom of the Walsh Bay Residence and you instantly notice the refined approach towards form and a use of quality high-end fixtures. Designed to meet the specific demands of a couple with cultured lifestyle, it seamlessly blends with the master bedroom and the dressing room that is right next to it. Using materials that showcase unbridled sophistication, the design is an example of chic semi-minimalism at its beautiful best!
We love the crisp and clean look of the bathroom that seems to be further accentuated by the smart placement of recessed LED lighting that brings the bathroom to life. Grey, transparent Valeria sliding door system by Rimadesio was added to make sure that the natural light coming from the bedroom flowed into the bathroom. Freestanding bath from Antonio Lupi and a floating vanity unit in gorgeous wooden tones steal the show inside the bathroom.
Quality fittings and fixtures, a freestanding bath, efficient storage solutions, double basins, separate shower, no grout and good use of natural and artificial light, were inclusions in the clients’ brief. Overall, they sought a design that was high-end, fresh and modern.
Lovely oak flooring and pristine white Corian walls complete this gorgeous contemporary bathroom that exudes a rich and ravishing appeal. Beautiful oval mirrors above the vanity, lovely tapware from Gessi Goccia and smart pendant shelves add to the understated class of the space. The renovated bathroom seems like a natural extension of the rest of the home even as it gives us another glimpse into the design acumen of Darren Genner and Simona Castagna from Minosa!
