We all love having a pet or two around the home and some of us lazy ones get a small bowl and a little ‘golden’ fish and pretend that we are great animal lovers since we are way too lethargic to take care of anything else. But designers and architects from the Centric Design Group have taken this love for aquariums to a whole new level (quite literally, we might say!), with the design of this fabulous and effervescent villa in the Netherlands that sports a detailed and delightful grand aquarium as a banister for its top level.

The interiors of this gorgeous home are indeed both distinctive and dazzling as they merge a touch of eclectic beauty with sleek and stylish modern design that is accentuated by a beautiful fireplace at the heart of the living space, interesting pendant lights that woo you with their spiral design and soft neutral tones that are brought to life by the vivid and vivacious contrast of the giant aquarium.

The ergonomic modern kitchen and the daft dining area are hidden wonderfully behind the fireplace area, while the top level sports both meeting spaces and the bedrooms. There is obviously no doubt what the star of the show here is, but the smart and interesting lighting choices along with the use of trendy décor in muted tones helps the overall look immensely.
