It is obviously not the easiest task in the world to design a sleek and stylish contemporary house that cuts out on the unnecessary and yet looks vibrant and lavish at the same time. Crafted by WCH Interior, this cool Asian apartments attempts to achieve exactly that and it seems to do so in a ‘laidback’ fashion as neutral tones and natural hues are incorporated largely throughout its interiors.
The designers pretty much limited the use of colors to black, white and natural tones, ensuring that there is never a sense of ungainliness and the atmosphere of harmony and tranquility is left undisturbed all over.
With the white walls forming a pristine canvas, the rest of the apartment employs natural tones in the form of wood and stone, with black being used smartly to ensure that no wall seems bland or unattended. A plush sofa in white welcomes you invitingly and the cushions adorned in black and a wooden wall divider break up the monotonous look in the living room.
An ergonomic kitchen, gorgeous wall art and well placed skylights immediately capture your attention, while a wonderfully hidden workstation waits behind the cozy couch. The arrangement ensures that you can comfortably enjoy your favorite shows even when you are working and this use of black and white is continued even in the bedrooms, with no new extravagant tones being added. The idea of the apartment is to create an uncluttered and smart space that is simple, sensible and stylish and it is safe to say that the designers have ticked all those boxes.
