The residence you are about to see is no ordinary house – it is a fascinating place where The Flaming Lips’ front man -rocker Wayne Coyne – and his wife, artist and photographer Michelle Martin-Coyne live their interesting everyday life. The Flaming Lips Residence and Studio was designed by Fitzsimmons Architects, in strong collaboration with the owners.

An old warehouse space was transformed into beautiful and interesting living, working and entertaining spaces: a master bedroom and bathroom, an art and recording studio, and large family room. This renovation was the first step in building a larger structure made of six adjacent properties. Located in Oklahoma City, the residential building is the rocker’s promise to building a better community in the place where he grew up.
