Hanna Emelie Ernsting must have had a moment of pure genius when designing this simple, charming and modern vase. Ten individual pieces – each turning into a slim and chic vase – form a cluster of design elements that can be combined and adjoined to create a versatile contemporary vase or more. Named “Puzzled”, the elegant porcelain vase/collection of vases is a versatile decoration that encourages creative interactions with its elements.
The rubber band holding the bunch together was inspired by the way flowers are tied together in a flower market. By exposing different colours on each facade, each vase can be the focal point when separate and part of an artistic bunch when adjoined.
The outside shell of the design is white and cylindrical, while the interior puzzle of vividly coloured vases that belong together have the same colour. “Vase landscapes” can be created by adjoining the different vases and the designer – Hanna Emelie Ernsting – should be proud of creating such a versatile decorative object.
