A gorgeous addition to the landscape of Catedral, Otto, and Ventana mountains and lake Gutierrez, the S residence was designed by Alric Galindez Architects.
The house is an inspired composition of volumes clustered on the slope, each one ingeniously standing out and endowed with a fabulous view. The vast residence is a miniature city in itself, divided into areas for family or friends, deliciously adaptable and liveable. The protruding volumes of the facades are a symphony of natural materials, from dark gray local stone to cased wood, with artful perforations and large floor to ceiling windows, standing out in a refined yet natural way against the beautiful and harsh mountains.
The interior is finished in immaculate white, with stylish contemporary furniture layouts and inspired spot lighting. An astounding feature is the staircase between two high stone walls and a fully glazed ceiling, like a narrow mountain pass. The relaxation spaces include a deck jacuzzi, sauna and gym, as well as many other fantastic features, events, situations of this kaleidoscope home, with each of its areas facing a different mountain and a different possibility.
