Australian Studio Architecture Gestalten designed an incredible house in Windsor, Melbourne, which only uses a strip of land 40 metres deep and six metres wide. Constructed on such an unusual land shape, the home features huge glazed panels at both ends. The boutique townhouse is situated in the suburbs and it has an impressive titanium zinc cladding on the outside. This means that the architects used eco-friendly, fully recyclable materials that have a huge lifespan. Architect Günter Gerlach says the following about his work: “Rather than be concerned with the program we have given priorities to place, structure and shell”. The two storey house has modern furniture, which complements the interiors and offers a suburban escape from the real world.
