Cramped spaces are usually uncomfortable and can raise problems when it comes to moving around a small room. There are just a few good places for storage, just not enough. A narrow apartment doesn’t necessarily mean less space, according to the designers of this East Village studio apartment – Jordan Parnass Digital Achitecture(JPDA). Efficiently designed to accommodate living spaces as well as office space, this apartment offers multiple storage solutions.
The Architects worked together with the owner and the co-op board to insure a clean, modern and effective outcome. Every inch was exploited to the maximum, resulting a home office/ living area perfect for the client`s needs. A triumph over small spaces, JPDA has won the AIA Small Projects Award 2010 with the help of this renovation.
