Designed by Seattle-based architects from Vandeventer + Carlander, what you’re looking at is a contemporary house that has been designed as an inhabitable space for art lovers. Why art lovers? Well, it’s rather the artful decoration than the architectural creativity that we’re bowled over. With modernist arty portraits and pictures on walls (on all of them stretching through almost all rooms) take the joy of living to another level. The vertical construction allows cornucopia of space since it has a children area on the ground floor, a loft like space making way for living room and guest rooms on the main floor, and bedrooms above. A bit jaded to the right, the Corten rusted steel, container-like structure suggests what went into its assembly. It sure managed to impress us!
