Contrary to the locale and the Japanese Rural Homes label, the looks and the design hardly suggest theses house are actually one. In fact, Kidosaki Architects made sure that their constructions possess all the modern amenities, hence why the Villa in Deep Woods — which stands high on a grassy cliff — features natural lighting, proper ventilation and chic interiors as well. The same goes for House on the Hill with the only exemption (sets itself in a semi-urban milieu) that enhances the visual appeal of the mansion. A flight of stairs keeps you guessing the hidden facets of the wonderful villa. Not in line with others, the House in Hanareyama maintains its bucolic purity. Having trees all around, the timber construction with front elevating portico leading you to woods, is nothing short of stunning.
