But for us homeowners, those of us who thrive under the challenge that an HGTV Design Star would face with limited resources and time, we are more interested in the foundation beneath the saran wrapped boxes where our treasure lies: The pallets. The wooden pallets that bear the weight of the next super market trend will be the next trend of our homes. And with so many ways to recycle the sturdy wood of that create the pallet; we can redesign essential parts of both décor and furniture for our home.

Pallet Coffee Table
Taking the pallet in its original shape your freshly sanded, primed and stained wood with a sleek fitting glass top that takes it from slats of wood to an accessible piece of furniture. The Pallet Bed
Safely attach two pallets side by side creating a long flat bed. Make sure they are structurally sound, using a two by four running under them to secure them and allow them to distribute weight evenly. Wall Pallet Shelf
Removing only one or two slats to fully capture the elements that will be on display without losing the structure and integrity of the pallet you can easily makeshift a wall utilizable ornamentation. Once again, you want to prepare your wood so that it can show off its travel weary surface but looks clean and organic.
