Designed by Kazuya Morita Architecture Studio, this next residence is a modern mixture between old and new traditions. Belonging to a young Japanese couple, the T House was built next to the home of their family. This was the reason for building the home as a modern reminiscence of the old Japanese traditional home. Featuring a traditional hipped roof, the house is in perfect harmony with the surrounding architecture. Black on the outside, but with light wood and gorgeous, white arches on the inside, the T House was constructed using a pentagonal geometric plan. This was done in order to maximize the open space around the residence and add modernity to the structure.
